1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for, accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Risk Disclosure and all other policies incorporated by reference.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not register for or use the Platform.

2. About Our Services

Meritoship operates as a technology services company. We provide software tools, including automated trading strategies and market intelligence, and facilitate access to trading services offered by third-party brokerage partners.

• We do not provide financial, investment, legal or tax advice.
• We do not hold, transmit or receive client funds directly; funds are held by our regulated brokerage and payment partners.
• Nothing on the Platform is an offer, solicitation or recommendation to buy or sell any financial instrument.

3. Eligibility

To use the Platform you must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. Registration is currently limited to verified residents of Australia.

You warrant that all information you provide during registration and verification is true, accurate and complete, and that you will update it promptly if it changes.

4. Account Registration and Verification

You may open one account per person. As part of our know-your-customer obligations, we may request identity documents, proof of address and source-of-funds information before activating your account or processing withdrawals.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.

5. Deposits

A minimum deposit of $250 (AUD or equivalent) is required to activate your account. Deposits may be made using the payment methods displayed on the Platform and are subject to the terms of the relevant payment provider.

Deposited funds are held by our brokerage and payment partners in segregated client accounts. You acknowledge that deposit processing times may vary by payment method.

6. Withdrawals

Withdrawal requests may be submitted at any time from your dashboard. Requests are typically processed within one to three business days, subject to verification checks and the policies of our payment partners.

We may require additional identity verification before processing a withdrawal. Withdrawals must be made to an account or payment method in your own name.

7. Automated Trading and Strategies

Automated strategies execute trades based on predefined rules and market signals. You remain responsible for every trade executed through your account, whether manual or automated.

You may adjust, pause or stop any strategy at any time. Strategy performance is not guaranteed, and past results do not indicate future performance.

8. Prohibited Uses

• Using the Platform for any unlawful purpose, including money laundering or financing of terrorism.
• Attempting to bypass security controls, or accessing another user's account without authorisation.
• Using automated means to scrape, overload or interfere with the Platform.
• Engaging in market manipulation, abusive trading practices or arbitrage that exploits Platform errors.
• Providing false or misleading information during registration or verification.

9. Fees

Applicable fees, spreads and charges are displayed on the Platform and may be updated from time to time. Any material change to fees will be communicated to you before it takes effect.

10. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its software, design, logos, text and content, is owned by or licensed to Meritoship and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Platform for its intended purpose only.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meritoship and its officers, employees and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the Platform, including loss of profits, loss of data or loss of trading capital.

Our total aggregate liability in connection with these Terms will not exceed the amount of fees you have paid to Meritoship in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Meritoship, its officers, employees and partners from any claims, losses or damages arising out of your breach of these Terms, your use of the Platform, or your violation of any applicable law.

13. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, if required by law or regulation, or to protect the security and integrity of the Platform.

You may close your account at any time by contacting our support team. Closure does not affect any obligations that accrued before closure.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales in connection with any dispute arising under these Terms.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to you through the Platform or by email before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
